Open Houses are one of the best ways to get potential buyers into a listing. At Zimmerman Property Group, we approach Open Houses systematically. By following our Open House Playbook, we are able to get buyers through our Open Houses even in subarctic temperatures.

Open House Playbook

Monday: Schedule all Open Houses and input into the MLS. Our agents know to sign up for weekend Open Houses by 11am on Mondays. 

Tuesday: Call 200 homeowners around each Open House to personally invite them. Our operations team pulls the call lists and uploads it into Mojo for the agents to use. 

Wednesday: Prepare Open House packets. These include flyers, sign-in sheets, and comps for the home.

Thursday: Post Open Houses on all social media platforms.

Friday: Doorknock 40 homes surrounding the Open House.

Day of: Place 4 Open House signs out in the morning. Spend the hour before the Open House handing out flyers. (We create ours in Canva)

Immediately After: At the end of the Open House, reach out to all attendees to follow up.

 

Our system seems simple because it is. The difficulty comes in maintaining the habit of completing every activity.
